Answers to Questions Asked

  • Where do I find you?

Physically, Ajja lives at 209 Bickett Blvd. Online, we are @ajjaeats everywhere that’s anywhere.

  • Where do I park?

If you’re planning on enjoying our delicious alcoholic beverages, we recommend you use a ride-sharing app!

If you must drive to us, you are welcome to use the parking lot to the side of the Electric Supply Co building next door to Ajja. Our neighbors at Urbage, Hair of the Dog, Bungalow, Wild Art and Little Oak Collective also generously allow us to use the space in front of their shops as parking in the evening.

There is some free street parking along Bickett Blvd and Fairview Rd. We do ask that you are mindful of our neighbors as you park, and ensure that you do not block anyone’s access to their homes.

  • Do you accept walk-ins?

We sure do! We reserve about half our bar seats for walk-ins, as well as a small amount of tables inside and on the enclosed patio every night. Our entire uncovered patio is dedicated to walk-ins. We also have space around our firepit where you can have a drink and a snack while you wait for a table!

  • Is your patio covered/heated?

The patio at Ajja is covered. It is enclosed in the winter months, with heaters all around, and blankets always available to guests. In the summer, we open all the windows and the patio becomes open to sunshine and the breeze! We also have ceiling fans and large-scale coolers around the patio.

The garden patio is covered, but not fully enclosed. Each table is equipped with one to two tank heaters to keep our guests warm.

  • Do you take bookings for large groups?

We do our best to accommodate large parties, but due to our small space, we can only fit parties of up to 12 guests for dinner, and offer only a family-style, prix fixe dinner for all parties above 9. More info this way.

We usually require at least two weeks’ notice to be able to arrange this. Please email hi@ajjaeats.com with details of your party size and desired date and time and we’ll do our best to help.

Our space is occasionally available to rent for full or partial buy-outs. Please email us for more information.

  • Is your restaurant accessible to folks with disability?

We are proud to be a space that’s welcoming to all, and we work to make our space as accessible as possible. If you are making a reservation at Ajja, please indicate in your reservation notes (or call us!) if you are a wheelchair user or a person with reduced mobility. We will make sure to reserve a table that’s comfortable for you. If you have other specific needs, please let us know so we can reserve a spot where your dinner will be enjoyable.

We are currently working on adding handicap parking at the front of the restaurant. Until this is ready, there is a spot reserved with an orange cone by the main access to the restaurant. Please feel free to use this space as required.

Our staff would be happy to show you alternative entrances if our main entrance is not accessible to you.

  • Are you vegetarian/vegan/allergy friendly?

Yes! We are very allergy friendly and all our servers are trained on the details of our menu. We have several vegetarian, vegan, and GF options at all times. Please do let your server know about all your allergies at the beginning of your meal – we can only advise you if we have all the information.

While we can also cater to most allergies – please note that there is a trace of nightshades, allium, and coriander in the vast majority of our dishes.

If you have any specific questions, feel free to email our team at hi@ajjaeats.com.
